About the event
The Sanitary Napkin Drive being conducted by The Active Dreams in Dadri is one small step to tackle
period poverty and promote the use of clean and hygienic sanitary products during menstruation.
Till date, only 36% of women in rural India have access to sanitary napkins. Using unclean items such
as cloths in place of hygienic sanitary products can lead to serious health problems for women. With
the aim to raise awareness about the same and start a conversation around women’s health and
menstruation TAD along with its undergraduate student volunteers from Shiv Nadar University are
