Stree - A Sanitary Napkin Drive by Flow & Glow

The Sanitary Napkin Drive being conducted by The Active Dreams in Dadri is one small step to tackle

period poverty and promote the use of clean and hygienic sanitary products during menstruation.

Till date, only 36% of women in rural India have access to sanitary napkins. Using unclean items such

as cloths in place of hygienic sanitary products can lead to serious health problems for women. With

the aim to raise awareness about the same and start a conversation around women’s health and

menstruation TAD along with its undergraduate student volunteers from Shiv Nadar University are

conducting this drive in Dadri between 6-8 th February 2023 (tentative) at time (TBD). Women from

the surrounding communities can come to the location at the time mentioned above to participate

in this drive.
